What kind of merchants are accepted at the Indoor Merchant Market?
All businesses start somewhere. Why not start here.
The Indoor Merchant Market emphasizes homegrown, handmade, inventions and homemade items with some exceptions depending on the product type. The Indoor Merchant Market provides a platform for undiscovered products, small business services and start-ups to gain exposure and get out in front of their target markets. Before a new fledgling merchant can begin to make money, their existence must become known. We help that happen. A new merchant must build a customer base, and a dedicated following in order to gain funds to build to a more accountable business with the ability to govern themselves according to the proper regulatory or licensing standards needed to sell their products and services to a broader more main stream audience. The Merchant Market is simply a platform for a merchant to market their wares and goods. We are not a governing body or agency. Nor do we enforce the necessary laws, a merchant's products or services may fall under.
What kind of Merchants are NOT ACCEPTED at the Indoor Merchant Market?
Right now, most Merchants with micro or very new concepts are welcomed at the Merchant Market.
We are not a “flea market” or a place for ordinary resale of products or independent consultants/distributors.
We are a place for marketing of service businesses looking for a place to advertise or collect new clients. We are a place for retail business/food or drink sales to set up pop-up sales. We accept FOOD TRUCKS but only one at a time, but we do accept 1 food truck at a pre-scheduled, previously agreed upon for a planned date, due to lack of space. Some small trailers may be accepted.
How much does it cost to be a merchant at the Market? Merchant costs are subject to change with advanced noticed based on market draw.
Merchants pay Shared Marketing Costs (SMC) of $50 per attendance. This means that Sacrod Productions has incurred costs to create this community event and only requires a portion to be covered by you, the Merchant. We encourage you, as the Merchant to market to your following, friends and family and tell them you will be at the market and encourage them to come ready to purchase from you.
Are non-profits allowed to set up at the Market?
Yes, 501c3 organizations with approval of the Market Coordinator are allowed as space allows. The SMC cost for space to the non-profit is $25 dollars and is not subject to change.
How are the locations of the Vendors determined?
The Market Coordinator determines the location of merchants based on space availability, merchant products, and needs and overall flow of the Merchant Market. Merchants are not allowed to choose their locations.
Can Merchant space be shared by multiple businesses?
Yes. Merchant One can invite only one other merchant to share a space. The SMC cost for two merchants is $75. Merchants are welcomed to split the cost between themselves. No more than two merchants/businesses can share a space per attendance.
How long does it take before a business can begin as a vendor at the Market?
To Sell ot Market at this month's Indoor Merchant Market, you must complete the form and pay your Merchant fee by Friday 9/22.
Merchant forms are open. We are always welcoming new Merchants or Vendors to our network of business. We are always open to new or experienced folks looking for an opportunity to learn more, collaborate and cultivate great things together!
If a Merchant does not make it into the first intake of Merchants for the earliest upcoming Market, that Merchant's spot is reserved for the next upcoming Merchant Market automatically and no further payment is due for the upcoming Market that the Merchant has been assigned to.
If for some reason a Merchant is not accepted into the market, that Merchant will receive a full refund. The application process requires the completion of the online form and payment to reserve a spot at the Indoor Merchant Market.
